HYBRID STEREO 2
Smaller brother to Hybrid Monoblock 2, The Absolare Hybrid Stereo 2 Amplifier is the single chassis version of the Hybrid Monoblocks built upon similar architecture and sonic envelope. Absolare’s Hybrid Stereo Amplifier is a solution for music lovers who cannot accommodate two Hybrid Monoblock chassis. With slightly less power than the Hybrid Monoblocks, simplicity is preserved with the critical tube input stage – a hallmark of all Absolare products.
OVERVIEW
The Hybrid Stereo 2 Amplifier shares all the sonic properties of visceral immediacy, superb dynamics, soundstage scale, midrange transparency, impact and the startling sense of directness of the Hybrid Monoblocks. The ideal choice for smaller rooms, the Hybrid Stereo Amplifier also has a directness of expression and realism by rendering instruments and voices with an organic quality.
The Absolare Hybrid Stereo Amplifier 2 is a single chassis dual mono power amplifier delivering 275W of power per channel into 4Ω loads. The Hybrid Stereo 2 design tailgates the Hybrid Mono design in all aspects, yet in a single chassis. It is a hybrid design with a tube input section and a solid-state power amplifier section. With two tubes alone, the synergy can practically be orchestrated and realism can be achieved in a single chassis, being able to drive literally any speaker. Like all Absolare hybrid designs, voltage gain mainly comes from the single-ended zero feedback tube input section. Thus the SET sound characteristics are preserved even at high power levels and complex speaker loads.

Model 2 Highlights
• All internal wiring is upgraded to Echole Omnia cables.

• New wire routing with structural enhancements enables shorter signal paths, blacker background and immense palpability.
The Hybrid Stereo 2 is a significant step above the previous Signature series especially in terms of speed, transparency and harmonic resolution.
Connections and Chassis
XLR inputs are transformer balanced for maximum noise immunity and signal symmetry. Special silver-gold alloy solder is used for all soldered joints. Binding posts are silver plated copper with polyethylene outer barrels to minimize conductor mass. Tube sockets are pure teflon with gold plated copper contacts.
The laser cut and precision welded single piece aluminum chassis is encased in high density fiber panels to minimize the mechanical resonances.
Safety
A soft-start timer circuit protects the speakers and power components from transient signals and in-rush currents at power-on time. Output stage is protected from short circuits, overheating and overloads.
HYBRID STEREO ALTIUS 2
There is a limited edition Altius model of the Absolare Hybrid Stereo 2 which extends performance well beyond the previous Altius model thanks to numerous component improvements.
In addition to all Hybrid Stereo 2 upgrades, Duelund’s customized CAST Silver/Copper coupling capacitors are used together with matched Amtrans AMRG resistors for excellent transparency.
With Hybrid Stereo Altius 2, all internal wiring is upgraded to the Echole Limited Edition cables.
